PETA has been critical of " humane treatment guarantees " fo a long
time. I have a Western ( can't think of the title something like Grey
Eagle) from the 70's in which Indians dump a man's dead dog out of a
sack , mouth open , tounge hanging out. As part of the end credits was
something along the lines of the following in big, bold lettering : We
wish to absolutely guarantee our audience that no animal was in any way
harmed in the making of this picture. I don't remember anything like
that at the end of Home Movie.
