This is the full, uncut, unfettered edition of "The TAMI Show" that
played in theaters back around 1964-65. The video that's been extant
for years is in fact a compilation of excerpts from both 'TAMI' and
Phil Spector's "The Big T.N.T. Show" (a markedly inferior follow-up).
'TAMI' has never been released on Home Video, largely because 'The
Beach Boys' management, for years, wanted a five-pound bag of thousand
dollar bills before they'd authorize it. We canume that cooler,
more reasonable heads have prevailed . . . or taken a smaller fee.
