Lists like these are such subjective things that they lack any real point
if one doesn't explain one's rationale, surely?
Wouldn't this be more(*) interesting if you explained WHY you listed the
people you did?
Or is this just an exercise in nodding knowingly and reflecting that you
know some names of some directors?
I single you out, Harkness, as I know you have more capabilities than just
to rattle off a few names (not to sure about the others posting here).
For one thing, I'd really like to know why Peckinpah belongs on any list of
good directors. Aren't all his films shit? (purposefully subjective
and... leading...)
