Pilgrim, the article you posted makes important points, but it doesn't
go so far as to support your argument. The Dutch study isn't the only
one to show that ... men are on average much more promiscuous than
men. And we also know that hetero men are significantly more
promiscuous than women. In other words, _men_ are more promiscuous,
and when they're not it's often because they want to honor their
commitment to their wives or are afraid of losing them if they don't.
This is basic knowledge. Furthermore, as we've seen, half the ... men
in one study don't even see monogamy as a condition of marriage. So
does anyone/how could anyone in his or her right mind not think ...
couples are more promiscuous than straight ones?
And in fact we see that the article you posted has one glaring error,
one "glaring logical fallacy," which is that it cites no study showing
just how many ... men are monogamous. If they were likely to be as
monogamous as straights, the question would have been studied. And if
it had been studied and results were favorable to your case, the study
would obviously have been cited, since it would be the slam dunk to
your case. Obvious conclusion: no such study exists. ...s are on
average much more promiscuous than straights.
