Asked at the library:
How does the cost of buying a computer, an Internet connection, and air
conditioning compare to the cost of going to the library, which in
additon to the Internet also has books, magazines, videos, a place for
kids, and people who will help me find accurate information?
How do I wire a light bulb? How do I do electrical work safely? Is
there someone who will teach me how? Am I going to get sick if I don't
have a breath mask? What's the cheapest way to insulate a house around
here? What's that special paint we should use - I heard about it from
a friend who said it was on TV last week in Biloxi. Do certain plants
keep alligators away?
Is there a govenment agency that will help me deal with my insurance
company, give me a loan, provide advice on house plans, offer help with
finding a job? Would you mind showing me how to find our
friend/relative/pet on the Internet?
What's a good book?
How do I find the cheapest source for ....? Can my dog stay here today?
Where is the nearest ....? Can I just sit here in the cool away for
awhile? Can my group borrow your meeting room? Who do I call, where
can I find, how do I do, what is free, what else is there that does,
are there any, why should I, help me please...
